Doljinaar [dole-jin-ar]:
Doljinaar, the White Lion, Kingdom of Might and Stone, Sword of the Nations, Protector of the West...the united kingdom of men has many names. The world's greatest superpower boasts an empire that stretches over nearly half of Sylvane. Its armies and navies are vast. Its units feared the world over. Its capital is said to be impregnable, walls too high and too thick for any siege engine. Doljinaar's might and grandeur will continue to be revealed through each new tale.

Doljinn Guard [dole-jin guard]:
The most common foot-soldier and guardsman in the kingdom. Doljinn Guards are found in every town, city, fort and battlefront across Doljinaar. Doljinn guards often carry shields and are trained in phalanx formations which makes them great fighting units. The sheer tideous nature of guard work can at times cause guards to grow bored, soft, lazy or fat.

Doljinn Guard (disgraced) [dole-jin guard]:
Every army has soldiers who need discipline. Disgraced soldiers often wind up at the worst posts such as the seedy swamp town of Jile, or the most dangerous frontlines or posts plagued by extreme weather conditions. As Shade once put it, it makes them that much easier to buy...

Longbowmen [long-bow-men]:
Doljinn longbowmen, or simply archers, nearly match the common foot soldiers in numbers. Due to the critical nature of archery to the defense of the realm, archers can be found in every fortress, tower and the wall of every city across all of Doljinaar. Helpful even at times for driving off dragons, archers will always represent a solid need in the kingdom. Longbows are now standard issue among the regiments.

Majesterium [ma-jes-tear-e-um]:
The Majesterium are the royal elite guard of Doljinaar. They oversee the safety of the royal family and will lay down their lives if necessary.

The Majesterium also are entrusted with the secret location of the Isle of the Hidden King, buried deep in the howling haze of the Haraglace. They maintain the fortress there, the Old King’s Tunnel and the escape ships to reach the isle.

The King's Council
[the king's coun-cil]:
The King's Council may also command the Doljinn military, but only in times of the king's absence and also the absence of the Marshall General. The council must agree on the orders by a vote and the council will act in the king's stead. This right is reserved for emergencies only as in most situations the military's own commanders are more than capable of carrying out their own duties.

The King [the king]:
The king of Doljinaar, or High King, as the rulers of many of Doljinaar’s allies like to heap upon him is the rightful ruler of the kingdom. He is the army's highest commander in chief and his orders may countermand or supercede the rank of any other office in all Doljinaar.

King Magnus is the reigning king and his lineage can be traced back to High King Doljinn. Magnus has had a good reign and is expected to ascend into godhood when he dies.
