The Black Ring [the black ring]:
The Black Ring is a slave trade ring run by men (mostly scoundrels and Shamites), Gutter Dwarves and their Gorum pets. The Black Ring is named for its powerful slavelords who hunt down and enslave thousands of night mortals trying to sneak into the west each year.

Trappers [trap-urs]::
Trappers is the common name for the slave-hunters who track down and capture slaves. The term is mostly commonly used just off the Great Waste where most night mortals try to sneak into the wilds of Doljinaar. Trappers are looked upon as heroes by the local cities who often encounter hostile bands of night mortal brigands.Trappers is the common name for the slave-hunters who track down and capture slaves. Handlers [handle-urs]:
Slave-handlers, or just handlers for short, refer mostly to the massive heavily muscled Gorums that over-power and handle night mortal slaves. Gorums stand over eight feet tall and they have huge hands, which they use to beat night mortals into submission. Due to the size and aggressive nature of most night races, Gorum handlers prove to be invaluable assets to the slave trade.

Jailors [jail-urs]:
Jailors are used in keeping the slaves secure. They are also used in torture, branding and at times executions.

Slavedrivers [slave drive-urs]:
Slavedrivers oversee the hard labor and keep slaves working by threat of the whip, chatisement or even death. The Gutter Dwarves utilize many slavedrivers in the mines of Ogden, but Dwaves usually only stick with the smallest of slaves. The rest are shipped overseas to the slave stands.

Taskmasters [task mas-turs]:
Taskmasters are the chief slavedrivers in charge of a specific group of slaves. Taskmasters are in charge of overseeing the worksite and making sure all work is going according to plans.

Slavelord [slave-lord]:
The slavelords are the highest ranking officials of a particular cell of the slave trade. A slavelord might be in charge of all a trapping post, a jail or a work site. Or they might be in charge of a harbor, slave post or a slave stand. Slavelords usually grow very rich over the slave trade, but the real gold is made if they become an official member of the Black Ring.

Slavelord, of the Black Ring [slave-lord of the black ring]:
A Slavelord of the Black Ring has worked his way into the richest and most influential circle of the slave ring. Comprised mostly of Shamites, other men and a few very lucky Gutter Dwarves, the Black Ring rules the entire slave trade. The Black Ring has a few powerful moguls on it from the Merchant Guild giving the sheik a keen interest in protecting the slave trade. Every slaver who becomes a slavelord wishes to one day become a vaunted member of the Black Ring.
